Ede is a town in the State of Osun, Nigeria. The population of Ede is 904,738 (1987 estimate). The people are Yoruba. Among the higher institutions located in Ede are the Federal Polytechnic, Adeleke University, Redeemer's University of Nigeria and Roseful University. EFCC CHAIRMAN, MAGU IN FRESH TROUBLE

There have been series of accusation concerning Magu duties at the EFCC. Some says he is a Buhari loyalist who works with sentiments at the EFCC thereby arresting only those who are against Buhari. In a recent interview with Channels TV, Magu was seen wearing a lapel having Buhari picture on it.. RENO OMOKRI said,  What does it say when the EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, who is meant to be neutral, publicly and proudly wears President  Muhammadu Buhari ’s re-election lapel pin? We all recall that earlier this week that Nigerian fashion designer and blogger, Noble Igwe claimed to know the the fraud fronts in Nigeria . Many Nigerians didnt find it entertaining to a young man to snitch on fellow young men. One of those , UK based Nigerian that is also instagram comedian took to his handle and called Noble Igwe a snitch and a oolish Nigerian youth . ANOTHER FIRE OUTBREAK IN LAGOS

Just few days after the reported fire outbreak in lagos and the fire incident at the Central Bank of Nigeria , Abuja building, on thursday , 3rd of May at  around 3: 40pm, another house at General-Ahmadiya around Abule Egba part of lagos caught fire. SENATOR DINO MELAYE SENT TO PRISON

A Lokoja Chief Magistrates’ Court on Thursday remanded a senator,  Dino Melaye , and two others in police custody until June 11 over alleged gun running. The accused are standing trial on a seven-count charge bordering on criminal conspiracy and unlawful possession of firearms. This is contrary to Section 97 (1) of the Penal Code and Section 27 (1) (a) (1) of the Firearms Act CAP P28, Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 2004. Earlier, Alex Izinyon, lead counsel to the prosecution, urged the court to remand the other defendants Kabiru Seidu, 31, and Nuhu Salihu, 25, in police custody. The Senior Advocate said this was to assist the police in furtherance of their investigations. He, however, pleaded that Mr Melaye be remanded in prison custody because he is influential and could jeopardise investigation.
