Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Saturday in Adamawa formally declared his bid for the 2019 presidential election. Abubakar is vying for president on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party. His declaration, held at the Ribadu Square in Yola, was witnessed by a mammoth crowd, which included leaders of the PDP from all the geo-political zones of the country. DALUNG DIRECTS NFF TO RECOGNISE GIWA AS PRESIDENT *SACKS AMAJU The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports development has directed the Nigeria Football Federation, a parastatal under it to comply with the judgment of the Supreme Court delivered on April 27, 2018, which restored the orders of the Federal High Court, setting aside the purported election into the Executive Committee of the NFF held on September 30, 2014.
