Let me tell you a story.

There's a very successful lawyer in this town. He's a SAN, and very Influential.

And there's was another lawyer, trying to make a name for himself. He tried starting his own law firm, but failed woefully many times.

One day, he cried to God for help. He prayed and prayed. He was leaving the place of prayer tired, he passed through a big hotel where there's a conference of investment bankers and lawyers.

He saw this successful SAN, he saw how people (giants of Industry) were begging him to represent them. Everyone want him to be their lawyer. Billionaires begging him with millions of dollars.

 And this poor lawyer said within himself that God is unfair.

All he ask for is just a fraction of what this man gets. He doesn't want millions of dollars, he just want to be able to afford a meal for his family.

He took the step of faith, he approached the successful lawyer. He knelt and begged him to help him. He said if he doesn't help me, he's finished. He wept. 

The man looked at him and told him to walk with him. He held him by his hand and told him to gist him.

As they walked, the young lawyer was furious and told him what he needed was help. He said there was no point walking around when all he needed was help. The rich lawyer smiled and told him to keep walking with him.

As they walked, people saw them. Those investors and billionaires there saw them and were wondering whom he was. 

They said 'Who is this man that's able to take the attention of our great attorney'. They said he must be very important.

The great lawyer saw these people's gesture and surprise and he smiled. 

When they had walked to his car, they great lawyer told this young lawyer something he would never forget. He said "After walking with me for this 5 mins, if you remain poor, never show your face where ever I am again. The mighty lawyer entered his car and drove away. The young lawyer looked at him and almost cried. He said to himself, noone will ever help me again. God has failed me. My last hope of making it just drove away.

As the man drove away, guess what. Every investor at the event turned to him. I guess they saw him as someone in the same leagues as the mighty lawyer.

But one of them walked to him with the same 100m the great lawyer rejected. The man said to him, " I know I can't afford your colleague, but would you please be my attorney? Here's the 100m sign in bonus check (cheque) your colleague rejected. Can you do the job"

They young lawyer comported himself well and accepted it. He got home that night, called three colleagues of his and gave them immediate employment. That's how God changed his life.

Moral: There's something they call GRACE and Favour. When you have it, people will put their integrity on the line for you. The man that walked with him for 5mins knew what he was doing. He out his integrity on line by walking that 5 mins with him. And that's favour.

After one year, he bought a mighty gift to give the man that changed his life. He got to his office with this gift. 

The mighty lawyer asked him if he knew what happened that night ....

Apparently the mighty lawyer wasn't going to help him or walk the walk with him, however, he saw that grace on him.

I am sure this is not the end of the story, but trust me, the aim is achieved.
